Process Redesign for Digital Services Training Course
Many digital services are slow and complicated because they simply copy old paper and branch processes onto a screen. Real improvement comes from redesigning the process itself: removing unnecessary steps, signatures, approvals and hand-offs. This instructor-led, live training (online or onsite) is aimed at intermediate-level Product Owners, business analysts and process owners who wish to redesign processes around the customer rather than digitise them as they are.
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
• Map an existing process from the customer's point of view.
• Identify waste: unnecessary steps, documents, approvals and hand-offs.
• Challenge "we have always done it this way" with data and regulatory facts.
• Design a simpler target process together with business, IT, risk and compliance.
• Turn the redesign into a backlog and measure the results.
Format of the Course
• Interactive lecture and discussion.
• Real case study: redesigning a bank's loan, credit card and insurance application from 30+ minutes to 5 minutes.
• Hands-on redesign of a process from the participants' own organisations where possible.
